After scrimping and saving vacation time I feel like President Bush with collateral and an itch to spend. And since Edmond’s wedding provided the opportunity, I scratched the itch with a small extension to Eddie’s big day. I’m lucky that Frank enjoys the similar tourist activities, which made the time even more enjoyable.
In the course of eight days we stayed in three cities, met three relatives, visited one haunted house and of course waved hello to the afore mentioned President. He didn’t return the gesture, which I felt was a bit rude. More on that later. Let’s start with the Red Eye flight into Norfolk, Virginia.
